Key Responsibilities Program Implementation Design and develop a diverse range of after‑school activities that cater to the interests and developmental needs of children. Implement and facilitate daily activities including arts and crafts, physical education, and other enrichment programs. Integrate Montessori principles and values into the after‑school curriculum. Student Supervision and Engagement Supervise students during after‑school hours to ensure their safety and well‑being. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Address any behavioral issues promptly and in accordance with school policies. Communication and Collaboration Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding any pertinent information about the after‑school program. Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate activities and share resources. Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required. Classroom Management and Organization Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment. Ensure that all materials and equipment are used responsibly and returned to their proper places. Monitor and manage attendance records and ensure accurate documentation. Safety and Closing Responsibilities Ensure the safety and security of all students during after‑school hours. Follow established protocols for closing the school, including securing all doors and windows, turning off lights, and setting the alarm system. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel. Additional Duties Participate in staff meetings and adhere to all MGRI policies and procedures.
